December 16-31

Dec. 17-Trivia Night
Once again Kim and I bravely went back to Trivia Night at Tipsy McSway's after being in the bottom 3 last week. We were confident we would be more successful this time. Called ahead for reservations to secure our spot. Walked a mile and a half to Tipsy's.

Trivia Night, here in Brunswick, has 3 rounds of 7 questions. Round 1 was Christmas Movies. Round 2 was Christmas Songs and Round 3 was the history of Brunswick. WHAT??!!! We're from Michigan!!!

Well, we struggled, we tried but we came in the bottom 3 (one team left early so really it was the bottom 2). We NEED our team from Michigan (Chad, Michelle, Brent and Mary).
The Brunswick Manor

"Major Columbia Downing from Downingston, Ohio, built this mansion in 1886. Owner of a naval store in Brunswick, he was also a bank president. After a long history of the house being a private residence, then a multiple dwelling, according to the brochure, in 1989, it eventually became the renowned bed and breakfast it is today."
December 19 - Picked up the rental car in the morning and headed north to Maplewood, NJ to spend Christmas with Katie, John, Naya, Alice and Nikki. (Will miss Michael and Sarah!) It's a 14 hour drive but will get there on Saturday. I will try and recap our trip at the end of the week. Merry Christmas everyone!
CHRISTMAS 2025
Christmas was unique with 4 cats, 2 are kittens. We could not put out  presents until Christmas morning due to cats climbing the trees.  No ornaments except Santa's candy canes.  Decorations are on the ceiling.
John made a bonsai tree out of legos to match is other real trees he is grooming. John also takes his lawn seriously. He is known throughout the neighborhood to have the best lawn ever!
Hot chocolate bar and a new game called Ransom Notes. You have to get this game!! We all laughed so hard!
Went to Turtle Back Zoo to walk through the Christmas lights.
